This man is so broken

The lies he tells about things that don't matter almost concern me more than the lies that he tells about things that do matter.  When the things do matter, at least there's a reason for the lie.  But he just lies about things that don't matter at all on a regular basis.  This says that he's fundamentally broken and truly does not understand the importance of telling the truth.
