Twitter doesn't want me

I tried to sign up for Twitter, so that I could follow these new rogue U.S. government agencies written about in this article.  But Twitter doesn't want me because I don't own a cell phone.  When I tried to confirm my account, it told me my number was unsupported.  So I guess I won't be doing that, but you can!  And you should!  The list in that link could be a very valuable source of information.  I highly recommend it.
